Oregon Physics, LLC was founded in 2007, with a mission to develop innovative ion beam systems. We apply our 100 years of combined experience in the field of charged particle optics to develop practical solutions for our customers. We conduct research and product development on new charged particle sources and optics. We also offer services in the design, development, fabrication, and installation of custom ion sources and optics for a client’s specialized applications.

Custom lens and optics development for broad area and nano-focused beams.
Performance upgrades and modifications to existing ion columns and guns.
Design and construction of ion columns for FIB and SIMS applications.
Modeling and design of high voltage isolators.

People

Noel Smith, Paul Tesch, and Noel Martin have designed many of the leading ion beam and electron beam instruments used in research and industrial applications.
